The led current too larger is so Damaging to led server time

The position proportional relationship between the light intensity and current of led, when led working in regular scope(voltage & current) .
the current rising the more bright .when reached to a limit point(user can refer to relevant datasheet)the light intensity and current not be position proportional relationship. They have become that Exponential relation. Other words : the led current has more double ,but the led luminous will be not double. It may add a little. Where are the remain energy going? Vast amounts of energy converted into heat. Which heat can store led body. Under such work mode , there are could be more chance to damage LED.
