Curing principles and advantages and disadvantages of Ultraviolet (UV LED)

Ultraviolet (UVLED) curing principle:

UV light curing system is divided into the radical system and the cationic systems, different systems have different curing mechanism.The radical come into being new radical by the light irradiation, causing the monomers and prepolymer polymerization crosslinking reaction can achieve the effect of curing .after polymerization Eventually, it reaches a stable state of curing.
Ultraviolet (uvled) curing advantages:

1, excellent performance, wear resistance, solvent resistance, to fight against high intensity;

Ultraviolet (UVLED) curing advantages:

1, excellent performance, wear resistance, solvent resistance, fight, high strength;
2, using a single set of system do not mix, making use of convenience;
3, can be an instant cure, save a lot of time ,can improve the production efficiency ,it is conducive to automated production lines;

4, curing temperature requirements are low, thereby saving energy,
low curing temperature requirements, thus saving energy, more suited to the high temperature curing material, curing worked far better(Curing degree is also high) compared to heat curing(energy consumption.),
5, environmental health, without the use of solvents, does not produce volatile gases, environmental pollution, no harm to the human body.

UV (uv led) curing disadvantages:
1, penetration of UV curing is weak. So curing depth is limited, opaque parts and blind side, theuv light will be unable to shine, curing is not easy;
2, electronic curing equipment investment is relatively large, the price of UV curing coatings is relatively high, but these can be could be compensated from the energy compensation.
